QUESTION: Is the training program on-line or based on our computer?

Both.  The Cogmed program will be loaded onto your computer (it does not require much space).  Then your computer will interact with the Cogmed training website to upload the training data generated.

QUESTION: Can the training be done from more than one computer?

Yes.  The Cogmed program can be loaded on more than one computer (e.g. PC at home, laptop to be taken on trips).  Since the training data resides on the Cogmed training website, as long as the trainee uses their Cogmed UserID and Password, they can access the training from more than one computer.

QUESTION:  Can the training be done on PC's and on Mac's?

Yes.  Since the training was developed in Europe, it is PC-based.  Therefore, it runs on any Windows-based PC.  It can also be run on later version Mac's but requires being able to run Windows through Bootcamp on the Mac.  The Cogmed technical support staff can answer questions and assist Mac users in setting up their computer to run the training program.

QUESTION:  How much does the training cost and what is included in the cost?

Because different Cogmed practices charge different fees for the training (largely due to regional professional fee differences), we are not allowed to post on-line our fees.  However, the fee is all-inclusive  that covers:  a) the initial consultation and set up of the training process;  b) the 25 primary training sessions to be completed over 5 to 6 weeks;  c) weekly coaching calls with a Cogmed qualified coach, for 5 weeks;  d) a follow-up session with the coach three to four weeks after the training is completed;  e) 100 extension training sessions to be used in the 12 months following the training; and f) a 6 month follow-up call from your Cogmed coach.

QUESTION:  Are there any payment plan options or discounts?t

 Yes.  Cogmed allows us to accept 50% payment upfront and then pay the remaining 50% monthly over the following three months by credit card.
